Highlanders vs Lions

This is a tough one to call. Both teams are shaping up to be contenders for the wooden spoon of the Super 14 but at the same time, they're so evenly matched that it's actually a clash to look forward to. The Highlanders are stone last at the moment with only five bonus points to show after their first seven matches. They're still a young team with no real stars so we're not expecting too many waves from them this season.

The Lions on the other hand have put in a string of good performances this season so far but just havn't been able to make the last pass stick. But with stars like Earl Rose, Cobus Grobbelaar and Joe van Niekerk the Lions can finally realise their potential.
