Florida vs Tennessee and LSU vs Auburn Headline This Week's Matchups
A lot of big matchups on the schedule for this weekend in college football. Here is a breakdown of some of those matchups.
#4 Florida vs Tennessee
Classic SEC rivalry taking place between the Gators and Vols this Saturday. The Vols are not as strong this year as in year's past, but Tennessee will give Florida all they can handle. Tim Tebow has not put up the dazzling numbers he did last season, but has lead this Gators team to a 2-0 mark. Look for Percy Harvin to have a monster game for Florida and win by about 10 points.
#6 LSU vs #10 Auburn
Yet another big SEC showdown of two bitter rivals. LSU the defending national champions take on a very talented Auburn squad. This is a huge game between these two schools which could decide who will represent the western division in the SEC title game at the end of the season. LSU looks like a better team right now and I like them in this game. Les Miles is a great coach and will have his guys re! ady to roll this weekend.
#9 Alabama vs Arkansas: UPSET ALERT
Noticing a theme? Yet another SEC rivalry game. The Alabama-Arkansas rivalry is one of the biggest and this year's game has the makings of a great one with both teams looking strong thus far. Nick Saban versus Bobby Petrino two coaches who jumped ship early from NFL teams to return to college. Alabama is getting all the ink as a sleeper championship contender and I know Arkansas does not like that. I'm picking the Razorbacks in an upset.
#3 Georgia vs Arizona St.
This game features an SEC versus Pac-10 matchup. Georgia was the preseason #1 team, but a flurry of off the field distractions have effected their on the field play. Arizona St. is highly regarded this season, but an early season upset has dropped them from the top 25. Georgia is too good to lose this game, but it should be a close one.
#18 Wake Forest vs #24 Florida St.
The ACC's two best teams thus ! far square off in Seminole country. The ACC looks very weak t! his year , but they still get one BCS bid. Florida St. is tough at home and I like them to win this game pretty handily.
